LOT 7
Lot 7 shares many features with Lot 6, remaining in the southern area of the project. Its 5,000 m² extension combines a largely flat surface with a central rocky formation covered in native vegetation. Access is located at the rear boundary, oriented west, through an entrance that gently descends among shrubs. As in Lot 6, the flora is composed of coihue trees and native species, while birds such as the chucao tapaculo and rayadito enrich the setting. Its eastern edge connects directly to the Futaleufú River, where rocky formations, vegetation, and the riverside landscape converge.

About the Termindor Rapid
The “Terminator” section of the Futaleufú River is one of its longest and most technical rapids, recognized worldwide for its intensity. Located just a few kilometers from town, it runs through a valley framed by Andean mountains and native forests, where the flow —fed by mountain lakes and seasonal snowmelt— reaches its full power. Its name dates back to the first rafting expeditions in the 1980s, when paddlers facing its magnitude would simply exclaim: “Terminated!”. Since then, the Terminator has become both a natural and sporting landmark, helping to establish Futaleufú as an international destination for whitewater adventure.
How to get to Futaleufú?
Futaleufú can be reached from both Chile and Argentina through various routes. From abroad, the most direct option is via Santiago, Chile, followed by a domestic flight to Puerto Montt. From there, travelers can reach Chaitén either by air —with services operated by Pewén and Aerocord— or via an overnight maritime barge run by Naviera Austral. The final stretch to Futaleufú is completed by road from Chaitén. From Argentina, access is possible through flights from Buenos Aires to either Bariloche or Esquel, with Esquel being the closest city to the border crossing that leads directly to Futaleufú.
